Missing books of the bible..?
Q. I dont understand how people can fully begin to understand the bible if they don't have the whole text to begin with.. From what I gather, the "Roman Christian" authority got to pick and choose which books to include, and which to edit.. In order to "control" the minds of the masses per say.. What were they so afraid of? I know of a few, The book of Enoch, and Gospels of Mary of Magdala, but what other texts, or Gnostic Gospels are we missing? Its like trying to put a puzzle together with alot of missing pieces.. How could you even see the picture?

A. Many like to claim the books are "missing" but they were purposely left out because they are not Christian and not accurate histories, but they are Gnostic or other faiths that decided to teach their brand of "knowledge" by inventing stories using real the historic figures that were in the long accepted real Biblical Gospels. These are copy-cats that were trying to make their views more credible by saying Jesus or his disciples did or said things that were counter to the known and well recorded history that we still have in the New Testament. It would be like someone Today saying that they had a book that said Abraham Lincoln didn't free the slaves, wasn't the President, and wasn't assassinated but really just a guy who… [cont.]

When the Antichrist arrives will "he" infiltrate and corrupt our governments and churches ?
Q. How will we know when "he" has arrived ? Do you think "he" is already here on Earth ? "Michelle ": You either are not keeping up with current events (The Middle East endless War, Global warming and Corruption) OR you are not familiar with bible prophesy or any other ancient prophesies. "Heathy Surprise": Things seem to be going as many prophesies predict of the time. Do something about it? No! The Antichrist can't touch what counts, if you are prepared.

A. Your question is a good one. In answering I will use the Bible alone in effort to stay clear from "popular theories". There are two main places in the Bible that speak of the power we understand as the "antichrist". Rev 13:1-8 & Dan 7:7,8,20-25 Da 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns. 8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold,… [cont.]

What is the documentary evidence for ancient winter solstice festivals?
Q. I'm a little puzzled because, despite lots of people saying that lots of cultures had these festivals, sometimes with detailed descriptions, nobody ever quotes or references the original ancient texts which describe them. Can anyone help? Can someone tell me where I can read the original text or texts? If there aren't any ancient texts, how do they know so much about them? Surely this stuff couldn't just be made up, could it? Kthxbye A very long list (presumably pasted from somewhere) but sadly only one of your documents - Bede - is an original reasonably ancient text and he mentions no winter solstice festival. 0/10 sleepyhallow: If you could tell me where these "Celtic ideograms" which describe a solstice festival are to be… [cont.]

A. Pagan faith was never written down in ancient times, it was passed down with word of mouth. When Catholicism came out it was in written form to get it out there as it was a new religion, it would take far too long for people to pick it up and start passing it down through the family. Catholicism also brought with it the witch hunts and the damnation of the pagan faith, some pagans say that the reason why it was never written down so that people could not misinterpreted the context, manipulate it and try it out without proper guidance!! Without writing it down and the fact you got burnt, shunned or converted if you where a pagan a lot of the tradition got lost. A. In Ancient Rome, February 14th was a holiday to honor Juno, Queen of the Roman Gods and Goddesses. The Feast of Lupercalia started the next day. During these times boys and girls were segregated. However, the young people had a custom that began on the eve of the Festival of Lupercalia. The girl s names were written on pieces of paper and inserted into jars. Each boy then drew a girl s name from the jar and they were partners throughout the Festival. After being paired, the children would often continue to see each other throughout the year and on occasion even fell in love and got married. A. Halloween comes from the Pagan/Wiccan holiday of Samhain. It is the Wiccan/Pagan new years celebration. October 31 -- November Eve -- Samhain The night lengthens and we work with the positive aspects of darkness in the increasing star- and moonlight. Many Craft traditions, following the ancient Celts, consider this the eve of the New Year (as day begins with sundown, so the year begins with the first day of Winter). It is one night when the barriers between the worlds of life and death are uncertain, allowing the ancestors to walk among the living, welcomed and feasted by their kin, bestowing the Otherworld's blessings. We may focus within ourselves to look "through the glass darkly", developing our divination and psychic skills.… [cont.]

Help me interpret this poem?
Q. Stare into my Kodak rome Jack-hammer ice eyes Never thought you'd see the asfault Crack, Crack, Crack like a black egg shell Don't ever say I never warned you from the start Don't ever say I never warned you from the start You're not a shovel, and I'm not your dirt Is there anyway to unswallow my pride? Can I fuck myself down? Why die when you can kill the father 'Dad' is missing a 'E' No Macbeth confessed Oedipus No longer present tense No, no, no, no, no reason High and overneath I won't regret letting you live Even if you forget what you never saved me from So I say; "whatever" or; "for never" for, for, for, for, for never Whatever The rape of Presthani Was choreographed by all the wrong greeks The rape of Presthani… [cont.]

A. You're in luck! I just wrote a long elborate review of Born Villian including several interpretations from these song lyrics. The two-word theme Born Villain is No Reason This phrase was interestingly enough inspired by an excerpt from Shakespeare s Macbeth: And all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death Out, out, brief candle! Life s but a walking shadow, A poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing Manson begins the song Overneath the Path of Misery reciting this. Honestly, it s my least favorite part of the album because it takes almost a minute for the music to begin. But it s worth the wait. This song is… [cont.]

AC3 Ending and what is to come? *Spoiler alert*?
Q. First off, I deleted my prior post for my 11 year old nephew who just got the game for his birthday. Didn't mean to spoil the game for the kids, just know who ever was attacking my last post can suck it. So IF you have finished AC3 and are as ticked off at this cliff hanger as I am, then please feel free to submit your input on what you think the 6th installment of AC will behold. Because honestly I have no clue how their going to make another game from what I've seen, Also if anyone has any info on any puzzles like the prior games let me know, AC2's glyphs were what hooked me in the first place.

A. "Can suck it" ??? Wow, and you call me a child. Last time I checked, isn't Assassin's Creed 3 rated M. Great parenting there Beavis. But I'm not a complete "d##k" so I'll answer the question, Seems I'm the only one so far: The series is called Assassin's Creed, not Tales of Desmond. Likely the next game in the series will follow a new lead protagonist. I'm sure that Desmond's bloodline was bigger than JUST him. I know it was said that he was the last of the Assassins, but hey, this is a video game story, long lost siblings/relatives pop up all the time. Likely the next game will have Juno as the main antagonist and a new protagonist looking to stop her. This would likely involve using the Animus to go back and learn… [cont.]
