How do Christians believe in the Oneness of God and in the Holy Trinity simultaneously?
Q. Christians believe that God is One, correct? Then where does the Trinity come in? But how can God be One and Three at once? I thought Christian believe in One God but it seems as if God has split Himself into three. Surely believing in the divinity of any other but God is not believing in the Oneness of God. A. God is one. Simply because God appeared in Person, it does not mean that He is not one? Simply because He indwells His prophets does not mean that He is many. Understand who Jesus is to understand that God is one. His name is called The Word of God (Rev 19:13). In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. Jesus was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Jesus, and without Jesus, nothing was made that was made. And Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1-3, 14). Jesus is called the Son of God because as the Word of God, He came from the Father. Through Jesus, God created the heavens and the earth. By good logic, you, your word, and your spirit are one person and not 3 persons.… [cont.]

Is a Christian a person who worships Jesus Christ or one who follows his teachings and examples?
Q. I've seen more than one person state that people who do not worship (whatever that may mean) Jesus Christ are not Christian. The Bible doesn't give us that definition. If anything, it claims that Jesus' disciples (students and followers) were Christians. So, is there a difference between worshiping some one and being a disciple of that same person? Whether your response is yes or no, I'd like to have you provide your reasoning.

A. It is defining what worship is. To show adoration, praise. To spend time with, to seek out to yearn after to give your whole life to it. We are to worship God and follow Jesus because He is the way to God and yes, Jesus himself is God the Son. Humans have an innate desire to worship. Grown men worshipping sport, women their bodies and appearance (that includes hand-bags and shoes..lol). Parents even worshipping and idolising their children. God is saying have no other Gods before me, do not bow down and worship them. The reasons are clear, they lead us away from God.They lead to idolatry which leads to a path of deception and destruction.
