Does going to heaven depend on faith or how good a person is?
Q. I haven't read anywhere in the bible where it says faith alone takes you to salvation. I believe Martin Luther and Calvin misinterpreted the bible. I think God loves and welcomes everyone, even if your not a christian.

A. This thing about going to heaven "if" is not an option. The choice of going to heaven was not an option of ours to make! Faith, good works and such are within the makeup of obedience to doing the will of GOD. Our service to GOD is to do as he has instructed us in our daily personal life and in how he has instructed us to worship him. While the ones who are received have lived such earthly lives they did not say, " if I do this I shall go to heaven." GOD through his prophets and his son, Jesus Christ did not tell us to choose " heaven or hell" but to " choose life or death." These are the rewards of obedience that GOD gave us as our choice to make. GOD does welcome all those who seek to come to know… [cont.]

Why do we attempt to define God who is infinite and beyond human comprehension?
Q. What difference does it make to define various manifestations or activities of God as different "Persons" of God? Is it important or a requirement to understand The Eternal Godhead? According to my perception God is everywhere, everything. Past present and future all at once. If God should cease to exist the entire universe would disappear. Jesus, on the otherhand is God focused on just one thing: The salvation of mankind. This is understandable. What is important to believe and understand, is judgment because of sin is satisfied by the blood of Gods Only Begotten Son, Jesus who lived a perfect and sinless life in harmony with the will of His Father in heaven. The blood of a perfect man atones for the sins of mankind. God cannot… [cont.]

A. The god that christians believe in is only infinite in some senses of the word therefore certain descriptors can be useful. For example he is infinitely good but not infinitely evil. Even something graphed into infinitey can and almost always does have some restrictions on it's domain and range.

What did Lucifer do that was so unforgivable?
Q. I thought God loves and forgives everyone. So what exactly did Lucifer do to make God cast him out of Heaven forever and ever? And did God realize that sending Lucifer away and giving him his own domain would allow him to become so big and powerful that he would have just as much of an influence on mankind that God does?

A. Lucifer (the Hebrew word Isaiah wrote is heylel, meaning star), in Isaiah 14, is the metaphorical nickname for the king of Babylon, a mortal human. His once-shining kingdom fell. It was described poetically as a fall from heaven. It clearly wasn't literal. Christians always take it out of context and start *after* where it explains that he is the King of Babylon. Ha Satan (The Adversary) is the job title (not the name) of an obedient angel in the Book of Job. Neither of them is the devil.

A. The idea of Gods being good and evil is actually sort of "new". It started with Zorasterianism, moved to Juddhaism, then to Christianity and finally Islam. All of these have one "good God" (God) and an "evil God" (the Devil). Prior to this, the Gods had both the good and bad qualities of their specific areas of interest. Aphrodite may make you fall in love but the consequences result may be Good or Bad. Consider Helen of Troy. Aphrodite makes her fall in love with Paris and the run away - only to have Helen's husband organize a great war to destroy Helen's love and new city. Some of the earlier Gods, earlier than the Pantheon, are pretty scary. The Furies come to mind. They were, well, furious and demanding.… [cont.]

A. Well, for those who want to know, this is what you ought to select from, for theology is not found in the bible, it is transmitted there in parable and mystery, for Christ always sought to give the disciples and followers food for their tender understanding. They were not yet able to understand the divine mysteries which were about to come. Bible translations are required, for the ancient languages were falling into dead use and no longer understandable, so these were done first into a complete Latin comprising all the Greek texts approved as authentic. St. Jerome was this scholar to knew the ancient languages well. He made the texts available to the Catholic Church, also using authentic Greek texts, for some of the scripture was in Greek,… [cont.]

A. You might want to get a web host and a domain name. Where you can upload your website on. And edit it when ever you want. What you can do is search google and look at other church websites.. see what and how they have done it.

A. I always say "don't do paid work for free" but there are a few exceptions. If this is your church and you are a religious person (I'm not) then it's a good idea to do a bit of pro-bono work for them. It helps when comes time to get married, baptise a child or whatever it is your religion believes in. Charities are a different thing, I'll usually charge them and then return a large portion of my fee (basically the part that I would pay myself, not my operating costs and the costs of the shoot itself) as a charitable donation. If you plan on doing this as a business, you will want to sit down and do a proper business plan. Work out your costs, the costs of your shoots, how much you want to be paid ... that type of thing. How do I point a website to another one?
Q. I'm making a website for my church, which already has an old site. I've made the entire new site, but my church wants to use the old domain name. How do I make so that my new website has the domain name of the old website? I know it involves pointing the old website to the new website and changing the nameservers, but nothing more than that. And how do you change the nameservers? Can you change the nameservers via a ftp client?

A. to do this all you have to do is forward the new domain with the old domain example if you have godaddy go to your domain manager click on your old domain and then you will see different options at the top, click on forward once you click on forward it will ask you the site you want to forward this domain to so you will type in the new domain name that way when they type the old domain it will to the new domain it usually takes about 4-6 hours before it takes affect. Here is the proof that it works go to www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com and then go to www.creditfinancialservice.com it goes to the same site. Good luck

Could pantheism be the same as believing that when you die you are one with the universe?
Q. Pantheists believe that god is all. So, could pantheism also include the belief that the soul becomes one with the universe when we die? This may be a stupid question in just trying to explore my beliefs, life philosophy, and spirituality.

A. Whatever words are used, "theism" (as a suffix) suggests something of "god" or "god likeness." It is not absolutely necessary to refer to "godness" in relation to the universe. There are many, many subtle connotations involved when references to god arise. Frequently, that leads to conflicts, arguments, even violence, discrimination, and war. The material aspects of your body will return to the universal flow of being and becoming. What you call "soul" i understand more in terms of emotional qualities and characteristics, just as i do the term "spiritual." One example of this is when we say someone has a great spirit. We are indicating something that has to do with "attitude&q [cont.]

How do I create an e Mail Address with a Custom Domain Name?
Q. Basically, I have this Physics teacher who finds joy in calling us Bofrots (which is a local dish), and he tends to scream Christ Emanuel when we give a wrong answer so I want to create an e Mail for him " (any free domain)". Any ideas?

A. Hello, So you're asking how you can create an email address with a custom domain name, you can do that by either looking for sites that offer services like that (AOL, Mail.com...etc.) those kind of sites offer a service where you can pick a custom domain name and use it as your email address. There is one other option, that's buying and registering your own domain on the Internet; but that costs money and I think you would like to do this for free so I would just recommend using the free services if you don't wish to pay anything...but if you would like to find more information on getting your own domain then visit which is a site that offers website domains that you can buy and then register with them for a modest price. Regards, New York… [cont.]

I would like to believe in an earthly paradise where people live forever, but isn't that too good to be true?
Q. Not according to the Bible. It seems too good to be true only because mankind has known the bad for so many centuries. Jehovah created the earth and told mankind to fill it with righteous men and women who would care for its plant and animal life and preserve its beauty instead of destroying it. Rather than that promised Paradise being too good to be true, the present sorrowful state is too bad to continue. Paradise will replace it. You're views?

A. I would like to share three passages from the Bible with you: Zephaniah 1:2: I will completely remove ALL things from the face of the earth, declares the LORD. I will remove man and beast; I will remove the birds of the sky And the fish of the sea, And the ruins along with the wicked; And I will cut off man from the face of the earth, declares the LORD. As you can see, this judgment has never occurred at any time in earth's past history. It continues on down, ending at Zeph. 1:18: And all the earth will be devoured In the fire of His jealousy, For He will make a complete end, Indeed a terrifying one, Of ALL the inhabitants of the earth. Revelation 13:1: "And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up… [cont.]
