Q. Christians believe that God is One, correct? Then where does the Trinity come in? But how can God be One and Three at once? God is one. Simply because God appeared in Person, it does not mean that He is not one? Simply because He indwells His prophets does not mean that He is many. Understand who Jesus is to understand that God is one. His name is called The Word of God (Rev 19:13). In the beginning was the Word (Jesus) and Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. Jesus was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Jesus, and without Jesus, nothing was made that was made. And Jesus became flesh and dwelt among us (John 1:1-3, 14). Jesus is called the Son of God because as the Word of God, He came from the Father. Through Jesus, God created the heavens and the earth. Q. How were their christians before the bible? Was God just in their face more? Or was it all word of mouth from adam & eve? People seemed to be getting along just fine before, so is their too much emphasis put on the bible? I'm not saying anything negative whatsoever against the bible. I love it, but just wondering why there isn't equal emphasis on other things like praying and talking to God, and whatever they did before the bible came out.
